Testimonials:

Excellent trip!

We had a great 5 days tour in Moroco with this travel agency. Our driver Ali was fantastic, he was always ready to serve us and ready to stop whenever we ask for. Also, our route guide Aziz was very nice and friendly. He answered all our questions and explained a lot of things about his country.

The food was tasty and delicious, especially Tagine and couscous. We really admire the way Moroccans eat. We discovered a new culture full of diversity and richness.

The highlight of our 5 days tour from Agadir was the desert of Merzouga. We loved riding camels and exploring the large Erg chebbi sand dunes as well as camping at Berber tents.

Thank you Travelling In Morocco for this incredible trip, highly recommended!!

5 days in Morocco from Agadir

Exceptional tour with friends accompanied by our super guide Hamid!

Beginning of the day in the desert of Merzouga, we have the impression to be alone in the world in the middle of this magnificent panorama!

The tea break with a Berber family where we had and exchanged talk on the culture and the customs of the locals was great. We took the road again towards the Atlas Mountains.

Tour to do again! Totally different and very rewarding! Very happy to have been able to discover another face of Morocco at "some steps" of Agadir! I highly recommend this excursion!

Th best!

Our driver, Ali, was a very nice guy.

We spent 5 days with him which made us want to ask him again just for his customer service. We upgraded to a tent for the third day, and the tent was spacious and the beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The showers had good hot water for up to two people. The hotel on the second day was a wonderful hotel with a magnificent view of nature in front of us.

On all days we enjoyed delicious Moroccan dinners. The driver stopped at a nice and clean restaurant each time for lunch and we were very happy with the food. Surprisingly, rental wi-fi was available in all areas. Thank you Travelling In Morocco for the wondrful services.

5 days desert tour from Agadir

We are 3 friends, this is the fourth time we visit Morocco, we always hire the tour here, they are the best, in treatment in attention in kindness, in everything, we have done the 4 tours with them, the first was from marrakech to the desert, another from essaouira to the desert, another from fez to the desert.

The last one was from Agadir to the desert passing through Marrakech, Dades, rissani.... always ending in the desert to rest, the peace and tranquility that you find there can not be described with words, those nights full of stars are incredible, and Travelling in Morocco makes it all possible, although you take a program they adapt to you, that you do not want to be 2 hours in a place, you leave before, that in another you want to be a little more you stay, we are already preparing the next one, thanks for being as you are, see you soon.

Highlights overview:

During this tour of 5 days from Agadir to Merzouga desert, there are many things you will see and visit, we have listed some of the best below.

The red city of Marrakech:

Marrakech is located in the center of Morocco, south of Europe and west of North Africa. It is the fourth largest city in Morocco. Marrakech  meaning in Berber is “God’s land”. Berbers are the indigenous people of North Africa who have their own unique culture.

Because of its location at the entrance to the desert, many dynasties flourished and declined, and buildings were added or destroyed each time, so you can enjoy a variety of architectural styles at once. The beauty of the cityscape is such that it has been called the “Pearl of the South.

It is important to note that you can see various faces of the city depending on where you are, such as buildings with high historical value and markets that are constantly crowded with people. In particular, you can enjoy the difference between the old city and the new city as if you were in a different country.

Some spots are registered as World Heritage sites, and French is spoken in the city due to its former status as a French colony, making it a city with a mysterious charm.

The Berber Kasbah fortress of Ait Benhaddou:

Registered as a World Heritage Site since 1987, Ait Ben Haddou is a settlement where the streets of ancient ruins still remain and traditional architectural styles are still preserved. There are still people living in its surroundings, and you can see how they huddle together and help each other in the small villages. When the sun is shining in the west, the whole Kasbah turns red, and the charming scenery spreads even further.

The village of Ait Ben Haddou is located in the suburbs of the city of Ouarzazate, about 30 minutes away by car. It used to be a prosperous trade hub between the Sahara and Marrakech and was a large city with many people living there. There are several settlements like Ait Ben Haddou in the suburbs of Ouarzazate, but Ait Ben Haddou is the one that remains in the most beautiful condition.

The city of Ouarzazate:

Ouarzazate is a city located in central Morocco, south of the Atlas Mountains. It is a major transportation hub and the gateway to Sahara Desert tourism in Morocco. Alos, it used to be a small town, but in the 1920s, a French military base was built and the city began to grow from there. Furthermore, it is one of the most popular spots in Morocco for its magnificent and fantastic scenery and atmosphere.

Ouarzazate is often used as a location for movies because of its convenient transportation and the magnificent and fantastic sight of the desert. It has been used as a filming location for many movies. Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars, Living Daylights, Hamunaptra, Gladiator, and many other movies have been filmed in Ouarzazate.

The desert of Merzouga, Erg Chebbi:

Merzouga is a small village in southern Morocco located near the Chebi Dunes, one of Morocco’s most famous sand dunes, and only about 30 km from the Algerian border. Merzouga is one of the most famous places for desert tours in Morocco, and it should not be missed. The sunsets and sunrises from the top of the dunes are a must-see. You can also ride a camel through the desert, stay in a tent in the desert, and enjoy the majestic desert to the fullest.

In this beautiful town, you can try a lot of other activities, such as Quad Biking, visit the nomad families, Enjoying the Gnaoua music, visiting the lake of Srij and more.
