Tour overview:
Our 5 days Morocco tour starts in Casablanca and ends in Marrakech. On the journey, we’ll see the greatest and most beautiful sights in the country. The start will be a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques. Afterward, we’ll go to Fes and wander around its historic Medina’s streets and alleyways. Furthermore, we will visit Al Quaraouiyine, one of the world’s oldest universities.
In the following days, we will explore the Merzouga Sahara desert and wonder at its magnificent hues and dunes. There, you will get the opportunity to ride a camel through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Returning to the north, you will be amazed by the Todgha and Dades Gorges, as well as the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. The final stop will be the red city of Marrakech, which is the most visited in the country.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Casablanca to Fes:
We will start our 5 days tour from Casablanca by picking you up from the airport or your hotel/ riad. First of all, we will go to see Hassan II’s mosque. The latter is the world’s seventh-biggest mosque and one of Morocco’s few religious facilities available to non-Muslims. Following that, we will head to Rabat, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. There, we will see the Hassan Tower and the Oudayas Kasbah. We will also get the opportunity to tour the Chellah site. Later, we’ll go to Fes and spend the night in a local hotel/riad.
Day 2: Fes discovery tour:
On the second day of our 5 days tour from Casablanca, you will see the city of Fes. We will be guided by a local guide who will explain the history of Fes. To start, we will go to the Royal Palace, also known as Dar al-Makhzen. Next, we will go to The Mellah, Morocco’s oldest Jewish district (1438). It is situated in Fes El Jdid, in the ancient area of the Sultan’s Syrian archers.
In addition, we’ll go to Borj Nord to get a bird’s-eye view of the city. Later, we’ll go to the tanneries and have a tour around the ancient Medina. Not to mention that we will pay visits to the universities of Al Quaraouiyine and Al Bouaanania. Overnight in Fes.
Day 3: Fes to Merzouga desert:
On the third day of our 5 days tour from Casablanca, we will go to Merzouga, the highlight of all our Morocco trips. Before that, we’ll make a couple of stops along the route. First of all, we will travel to Ifrane, Morocco’s cleanest city. We’ll stop there to view the Atlas lion statue, which was sculpted by a German prisoner in return for his release during WWII.
Following that, we’ll travel to Azrou to see the Barbary macaques in the Cedar forest. You will have the opportunity to feed and photograph them.
We’ll then go across the High Atlas Mountains to the Ziz Valley. Oued Ziz passes across a huge expanse of palm trees. We’ll arrive at Merzouga, the Sahara desert, later in the day. Your camels will be waiting for you there, ready to take you on a trip across the Merzouga desert to your camp, where you will dine, listen to Berber music, and spend the night.
Day 4: Merzoug desert to Dades gorges:
On this day of our 5 days desert tour from Casablanca, it is recommended that you wake up early in the morning to see a stunning sunrise. You will take the camels back to the place where you began after having breakfast. Your driver will be waiting for you to begin your journey. We’ll hit the road to Rissani City where you’ve got the chance to discover its Souk (market) and enjoy its art. Mainly on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays this Souk crowds.
Later, we go via the oasis of Tafilalt, where we can observe an antique irrigation system. After, we’re going to stop for lunch in Tinjdad. Then we head on to the amazing Todgha Gorges canyons. They are located at a height of 1300 meters and spread over 30 kilometers at the foot of the Great Atlas Mountains. At the end of the day, we will head to the gorges of Dades where we can see the monkey toes rock formation. Overnight in Dades.
Day 5: Dades gorges to Marrakech:
We drive over the land of the roses and the route of hundreds of kasbahs on the final day of our 5 days tour from Casablanca. We will arrive at Ouarzazate, the cinema city of Morocco. First of all, we will stop to shoot Taourirt Kasbah and then proceed to the Atlas studio. Next, we will get the opportunity to see Ait Benhaddou’s Kasbah, which is one of Southern Morocco’s best-known tourist destinations. It’s a fortified settlement, situated on a hill in the middle of a valley, composed of antique houses.
In the afternoon we go via the Tichka Passes towards Marrakesh. If you are interested, we will stop to capture a few panoramic views and pay a visit to the Argan Oil Co-operative. Finally, we arrive at Marrakech and take you to the airport or your accommodation. That is the end of our Casablanca tour in 5 days.

Casablanca, the economical city
Casablanca means “White House” in Spanish, and “Dar al Beida” in Arabic. Casablanca is the most crowded and biggest city in Morocco. It is on the Atlantic coast, south of the Moroccan capital of Rabat. The city proper has a population of around 3.2 million and a population of approximately 4,000,000 in the Grand Casablanca, which includes the suburbs. In the City of Casablanca, there are generally over 7.2 million inhabitants, making it one of the country’s densest inhabited places. Casablanca, as well as the largest port in North Africa, is Morocco’s main commercial and industrial center.
Fes, the cultural city
The provincial city of Fes, commonly known as Fez, north of Morocco has the terraced historical city of Fes el-Bali in the valley of Oued Fes and the Fes el-Djedid plateau region. The city is one of the most important economic hubs in the country. Its major economic activities are the manufacture of metal, leather and textiles, and ceramics. The artisans also make handicrafts, carpets, gems, and perfumes. There was also thriving trading in local agricultural products. Fes, which is one of Morocco’s 16 provinces, is also the capital of the region Fes-Boulemane.
Merzouga
The distance between Mergouza and Erfoud is 45 kilometers. It is also around 20 kilometers from the Algerian border. It’s one of the final communities before the Sahara sand engulfs the region.
Merzouga is the starting point for expeditions to Erg Chebbi. The fine sand hills there can reach up to 150 meters in height. Miles of brown waves stretch out in front of you. This is precisely what you picture when you think of a desert.
Merzouga provides real Moroccan entertainment in the evenings. Drums and lovely folk dances complement a delectable tagine, fresh-baked bread, and couscous.
After the desert, it’s worth exploring Dayet Srji. Rare species can be found in this salty lake west of Merzouga throughout the year. Birdwatchers would be blown away in especially. Flamingos, buzzards, and falcons can be spotted in this region in the spring. Snakes and lizards, as well as gerbils and desert foxes, are abundant.
The Kasbah fortress of Ait Benhaddou
The Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou is located around 29 kilometers outside of Ouarzazate. It is a fortified town that has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ksar is a classic example of traditional Moroccan mud-brick construction found across the pre-Saharan area.

The Ksar is situated on the Ouarzazate River’s left bank. A caravan route from Marrakech to Timbuktu via Zagora ran beside it in ancient times. The Ksar was most likely constructed in the 11th century. However, many families continue to live in the houses and sell souvenirs.
Walking among these old walls, memories of events that may have occurred here in ancient times arise. Ait Ben Haddou is a fascinating location.
The red city of Marrakech
Marrakech, along with Casablanca, Fes, and Rabat, is one of Morocco’s largest and most significant cities, located about 150 kilometers from the Atlantic coast. Because of the flood of tourists, the government decided to build one of the country’s major airports on the outskirts of Marrakech, making it highly accessible.
When you arrive in Marrakech, you can stay in one of the city’s dozens of hotels. You may stay in a two-star hotel for €25 per night or a five-star hotel for at least €70 per night, depending on your budget. Guesthouses are another option. Offers start at seven euros and go up from there.
Al Koutoubia Mosque, with its almost 80-meter-high minaret, is a must-see tourist destination. The famous sultan palaces may be seen in the ancient section of the city, known as the Medina. Built in the late 14th century, one of North Africa’s most prominent Islamic schools is located nearby.
